Denver is a world-renowned playground for adults with diverse interests, ranging from outdoor enthusiasts and avid hikers to those who can’t get enough of the thriving arts and culture scene. Denver is also a child’s paradise! Here are a few of the many treasures to be throughout the city for your family’s younger members.

Plan a trip to this amazing city of Denver so book cheap flights to Denver and spend your days here!

1. Bay Aquatic Park

Water World, an incredible waterpark and kids playground that has been an essential component of neighborhood life for forty years, is located in Denver. Water World was a USA Today 10 Best Reader’s Choice award winner, and it provides adventure for families of all sizes and ages year after year. Memberships, day passes, and a wide range of special event offerings are available at all times. This extensive sunshine experience is out by shopping, dining, and non-aquatic activities.

2. Colorado State Capitol

The State Capitol serves as the focal point of the state’s political history and power. The Capitol building, like Westminster in London, should not be overlooked. The Colorado State Capitol, which is at the top of Capitol Hill among a series of parks, is also appealing. The architecture is the State Capitol in Washington, DC, and the structure is of eye-catching white granite. To commemorate the gold rush, a gold dome was to the building in 1908.

3. Larimer Square

Larimer Square is home to the majority of Denver’s heritage buildings. The square district is rich in history and a great place to go for a walk or take some cool photos. Larimer Square has a fantastic atmosphere for window shopping or purchasing Denver souvenirs.

If you enjoy city walks, this is the place to be for an hour or two. We recommend returning via Larimer Street. Why not grab a bite to eat in the square and then stop for a drink on your way home?

4. Denver Performing Arts Complex

Do you enjoy a good show? The same way. The Denver Performing Arts Complicated is the greatest spot in Denver to see an achievement, whether it’s opera or Broadway. Ellie Caulkins Opera House, The Buell Theatre, and Boettcher Concert Hall are among the venues in the complex. The complex is a sight to behold, spanning twelve acres and featuring ten distinct performance spaces.

5. Denver Botanic Gardens

Do you want to experience nature but be closer to Denver’s centre? One of the best things to do in Denver to get close to nature is to visit the Denver Botanic Gardens. The Botanic Gardens, at twenty-four acres in size, will take at least half a day to explore. The Botanic Gardens also hosts seasonal events such as the Lavender Festival and summer music concerts. Check the Botanic Gardens event calendar to see if any special exhibits coincide with your visit to Denver.

6. Denver Art Museum

The Denver Art Museum is a must-see for any art lover or creative. The museum was in 1893 and houses extensive art collections spanning the centuries. You might see exhibits of ancient American art or the most recent and popular contemporary art. Denver’s Art Museum understands when to evolve and when to preserve historical artefacts.

A visit to the Art Museum complements a visit to the Colorado State Capitol. Both can be in the Civic Center. But, because the museum is across many buildings and floors, allow at least two hours to visit it first. The Art Museum delivers value for money.

7. Denver Public Library

When it comes to educational things to do in Denver, the Denver Public Library is a great option. Because the library is in Downtown Denver, it is accessible by foot from most other attractions. You can browse the shelves and read a book on the comfortable seating. Or, you can attend one of the library’s many one-time events. You can check the official website to see if there is anything on the event schedule that piques your interest.
